Belle Harris, an Associate in the Memphis office, is a member of the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice Group. Belle practices primarily in tort, commercial, and insurance litigation, primarily representing businesses and insurance companies in various litigation matters.
Belle formerly clerked for the Honorable John T. Fowlkes, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. She interned for the Honorable Diane K. Vescovo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and for the Honorable Thomas L. Parker of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
Belle earned her J.D., cum laude, at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She was the Articles Editor at The University of Memphis Law Review. Belle’s additional honors and accomplishments while in law school included Honor Council Student Justice; Duberstein Moot Court Team Brief Writer; Law Review Bluebook Editor of the Year; CALI Awards for Excellence in Health Law Survey and Fair Employment Practice; Dean’s Distinguished Pro Bono Award; and Tennessee Supreme Court Law Student for Justice.
Belle received her B.A. in Economics from Tulane University. Additionally, she studied abroad at The Institute of Economic and Political Studies at the University of Cambridge in England.
