Fred Harwell is a member of the Adams & Reese Corporate Services practice group. He advises clients across Tennessee on a wide range of real estate and financial service transactions. Fred’s practice focuses on commercial real estate law, guiding clients through the sale, acquisition, and leasing of retail, office, and industrial properties. He also provides strategic counsel on matters of title, zoning, land use, real estate development, and financing, ensuring clients navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes with confidence.
Before joining Adams and Reese, Fred served as a summer associate where he prepared drafts of closing documents for commercial real estate transactions and conducted legal research of relevant statutory and case law on a variety of topics. Fred worked as an intern at the District Office of Congressman Jim Cooper, where he served as a constituent liaison and presented daily briefings on current events.
