Julian Hennig IV is a member of the Adams and Reese Corporate Services practice group. Based in the Columbia office, Julian assists the group’s attorneys in advising businesses on a full range of legal matters impacting their business operations and also their commercial transaction needs.
Julian clerked for several law firms in South Carolina, including Adams and Reese, where he gained experience in commercial real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, tax implications, economic development incentives, civil litigation, and legal issues at the intersection of business and government. In Washington, D.C., Julian served as a Congressional Intern in the United States House of Representatives for both Rep. George Holding and Rep. Joe Wilson.
Julian earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He received CALI awards in legal research, analysis, and writing, and was a multiple-time member of the Dean’s List. While in law school, Julian served as articles editor for the South Carolina Law Review. He was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and the Student Bar Association. Prior to law school, Julian earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington & Lee University. He was Executive President of the Washington & Lee Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and in the Chi Psi Fraternity.
Julian is an Eagle Scout, earning the award as a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 10 in Columbia, South Carolina.
