Adams and Reese Government Affairs Advisor Laura DiBella will be a keynote speaker for the “2025 Economic Forecast,” presented by the Nassau County Economic Development Board. The free event will take place on Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Betty P. Cook Nassau Center at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
DiBella, a former Executive Director of the Nassau County Economic Development Board, will be joined by Congressman Aaron Bean, who serves in the House of Representatives, 4th District in Northeast Florida.
The event will provide local, state, and regional economic insights, discuss the impact of global events on the economy, outline the growth and role of port operations, and update attendees on port infrastructure and expansion. The event will also highlight emerging economic development opportunities within Nassau County and the surrounding area.
DiBella has more than 25 years of experience in economic development and government relations strategy. Before joining Adams and Reese, DiBella was formerly Florida’s first female Secretary of Commerce. She was also the former FloridaCommerce President of Business Development; President/CEO at Enterprise Florida; President of the Florida Opportunity Fund (Florida’s Venture Capital arm; Executive Director of Florida Harbor Pilots Association; and Port Director of Port of Fernandina Ocean Highway and Port Authority.
A dynamic ambassador for Florida’s economy, DiBella’s experience guides her in assisting clients in many areas at the intersection of business and government, including clients that need legislative and executive branch representation, economic development strategy and consulting, including, but not limited to, site selection, recruitment and retention project assistance, international trade, venture capital, and knowledge of the processes of the State of Florida government and procedures and processes of local governments.
