Adams and Reese Baton Rouge Partner in Charge Susan Eccles is among the more than 50 business leaders to graduate from the 34th Annual Leadership Louisiana Class of 2022, organized by the Council for a Better Louisiana.
Since 1989, CABL’s Leadership Louisiana program has equipped emerging business and community leaders from all job sectors and parishes with knowledge regarding the state’s top issues and industries in economy, healthcare, transportation, education, coastal issues, and poverty, among others — all with the goal of creating more informed and engaged citizens.
The program’s mission aligns with the overall mission at CABL, which is to improve the quality of life for all citizens of Louisiana, by raising awareness, advancing sound public policies, holding government accountable, and fostering civic leadership.
At Adams and Reese, in addition to serving as Baton Rouge Partner in Charge, Eccles maintains a diverse legal practice centered on construction, state and federal procurement/government contracts, commercial litigation, and professional liability. She has been recognized among Louisiana’s Rising Stars in Construction. She earned a Certificate in Construction Management, graduating from LSU’s Post-Baccalaureate Program. She received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and her B.A. from Loyola University New Orleans.
Eccles continues a long tradition of Adams and Reese attorneys participating in CABL’s Leadership Louisiana. Adams and Reese Partner Gerard Gaudet is in the current 2023 Class of Leadership Louisiana.
