Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Coleman “Cole” J. Braun has joined the law firm’s Nashville office as Special Counsel in the Financial Services Practice Group.
Braun joins Adams and Reese from Maurice Wutscher, where he practiced in their Chicago and Nashville offices for 10 years. He represents business clients in commercial litigation, consumer credit litigation, financial services, and insurance recovery and advisory services.
“Cole brings a wealth of knowledge in consumer financial services litigation, acting for banks and mortgage servicers. We look forward to having Cole assist clients in Tennessee, around our regional footprint, and further afield, enhancing our existing experience,” said Edward Playfair, Adams and Reese Nashville Office Partner in Charge and Global IP Team Leader.
Practicing since 2008, Braun has experience in a variety of litigation areas and across a number of state and federal jurisdictions. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois, numerous federal district courts, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eleventh Circuit.
Within the financial services and legal industries, he is an active member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and Mortgage Bankers Association.
Braun earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Tennessee.
