Adams and Reese Partner Jannea Rogers has been appointed Co-Dean of the Construction School for the Institutes CLM Claims College. Lee Wright, Casualty Claim Director at Tokyo Marine, has been appointed Co-Dean along with Rogers.
Rogers has served as a faculty member and on the board of advisors for the Claims and Litigation Management Construction School for eight years prior to the appointment as Dean.
CLM hosts a three level claims college program in the fall of each year (Aug. 16-19, 2023) wherein young attorneys with less than five years of experience and young claims professionals with less than 10 years of experience attend claims handling courses across a variety of eight specialties, including construction.
The College concludes with an administered test which requires a passing grade to obtain certification as a Certified Claims Professional at the end of three years. Additional leadership and master courses are available to test and then achieve an Advanced Certified Claims Professional certification.
Rogers has earned the Advanced Claims Professional (ACP) designation from The Institutes CLM. She also earned both the designation of Certified Claims Professional (CCP) in the area of Construction from The CLM Claims College School of Construction, as well as Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) from the Litigation Management Institute, prior to her recent award of Advanced Claims Professional from the School of Leadership.
At Adams and Reese, Rogers is a litigator and trial lawyer, who for 35 years has advised clients in civil and complex commercial litigation in Alabama, Florida, Texas, and Georgia. She defends clients in construction defects, product and premises liability, professional malpractice, health care facilities (nursing, assisted living, and hospice), D&O liability and insurance coverage, and commercial liability, including bad faith claims and transportation and marine litigation.
