Adams and Reese Partner Billy Wright has been selected as a member of the Fore!Kids Foundation.
Since 1958, the Fore!Kids Foundation has raised much needed funds for children’s service organizations throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Wright joins a team of local business and community leaders that assist the organization in fundraising efforts and the production of its signature event, the award-winning Zurich Classic of New Orleans PGA Tour golf tournament.
Wright is active in community service throughout the Greater New Orleans area. He sits on the board of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, which attracts and manages sporting events generating a positive impact on the New Orleans economy.
Earlier this year, he joined the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee’s Hospitality and Events subcommittee, which will play an integral role in planning hospitality events and efforts for Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. The Host Committee, led by the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the New Orleans Saints, is charged with the City’s preparations for the event and working with the NFL before the big game. This is the 11th time that New Orleans will host the NFL championship game, with the last Super Bowl in New Orleans in 2013.
At Adams and Reese, Wright primarily practices in professional liability litigation, charter and public school litigation, employment litigation, general insurance defense, and on a wide array of litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, and disputes pertaining to successions, wills, and trusts. He is recognized by his peers and clients as among Louisiana’s Rising Stars by Super Lawyers, as well as by Best Lawyers’ Ones to Watch. Wright earned both his J.D. and Bachelor of Science at LSU.
