Evan Gaudet is a member of the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice Group.
Evan practices in commercial real estate, construction, toxic torts, labor and employment, commercial litigation, and successions and estate planning.
Evan is a former construction industry professional. He worked in the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) departments at Turner Construction Company and Excel Contractors. He led jobsite safety and environmental audits for compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, wrote several EH&S training curricula, assisted in drafting safety policies in accordance with OSHA regulations, performed post-accident investigations following work-related injuries, and managed general liability, builders’ risk, and workers’ compensation insurance claims.
Evan earned his J.D. and D.C.L. from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received several scholarships, including the Dean’s Academic Merit Scholarship and the John P. Laborde Scholarship in Energy Law. He also served as a Junior Associate for Volume 83 of the Louisiana Law Review. His article was selected for publication in Volume 84 of the Louisiana Law Review and received the Henri Capitant award for the best civil law article.
Evan earned his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he received Dean’s List and President’s List honors.
