Reynolds Sorrell is a member of the Adams and Reese Intersection of Business and Government practice group, guiding corporate clients through the wide range of convergence between regulatory and business issues impacting their operations. Reynolds is experienced in a diverse array of practice areas, including commercial general liability, trucking and transportation, construction litigation, and premises liability.
Reynolds clerked for the District Attorney’s Office of Jefferson County and for the Hon. Martha Cook in District Civil Court. He interned for the City of Vestavia Hills, of which he is a native. He gained political campaign experience as a canvass intern for former U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., and as a volunteer in the George Pierce for Vestavia Hills city council campaign.
Reynolds earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, and he received his B.A. from The University of Alabama, majoring in political science. While in law school, Reynolds competed on the National Negotiation Team, and served as President of the Air and Space Law Society. In college, he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and was Vice Chairman for the College Republicans UA Chapter.
The Business Council of Alabama bestowed upon Reynolds the BCA fellowship, introducing Reynolds while in college to the business and advocacy worlds, with a hands-on opportunity to learn how to structure and promote a message at the state capitol.
In the community, Reynolds serves as a secretary for the Down Syndrome Alabama Junior Board. Reynolds is also an Eagle Scout.
