Adams and Reese attorney Lauren Baio has been elected to an out-of-state seat on The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. The seat is a two-year term beginning June 2024 and ending in June 2026.
The Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar has close to 30,000 young professional attorneys under the age of 36, and/or within five years in good standing with The Florida Bar.
There are 60 Board of Governor members who are charged with coordinating year-round networking activities, continuing legal education opportunities, professional development programs, and various projects that encourage the interest and participation of division members, and those who advance the best interests of The Florida Bar and the legal profession.
Baio, who is admitted to practice in Florida, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, practices primarily in financial services, including commercial restructuring and bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.
Baio is active in the legal profession, serves on the DC Network Board of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation as the Secretary and Co-Chair of the Communications Board; serves on the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Bankruptcy Litigation and Young & New Members committees; and is a member of The Florida Bar Business Law Section – Bankruptcy/UCC Committee.
