Adams and Reese’s continued revenue growth is highlighted by ALM/Law.com as the legal news publication features stories on the 2024 financial numbers reported by the top AmLaw 200 firms.

Adams and Reese reports a 7.5% overall revenue increase from 2023 to 2024, and a 42% revenue increase since 2020. Net income, hours billed, and attorney count also increased year-over-year.

“We had growth across our practice portfolio,” said Gif Thornton, who has served as Managing Partner at Adams and Reese since 2015.

In addition to litigation having a busy year, Thornton said, in 2024, the Adams and Reese construction practice was one of the firm's leading sources of revenue growth. 

The ALM/Law.com story reported that Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina were among the states with the highest percentages of construction jobs added in the U.S. in 2024. Adams and Reese has offices in each of those states, and with construction practice leadership also centered in Texas and Florida. Houston Partner Chris Derden leads the Adams and Reese Construction Practice Group, while Houston Partner David Toney and Tampa Partner Trent Cotney lead the firm’s Construction Team.

Adams and Reese has more than 90 attorneys who practice construction law with those attorneys licensed in more than 35 states, and Construction Executive ranks Adams and Reese among the Top 20 Construction Law Firms in the nation.
