Won a copyright dispute for the Don Everly estate against the heirs of Phil Everly over "Cathy's Clown." The case applied the express repudiation of authorship doctrine in conjunction with copyright termination rights – the rights of authors to get U.S. copyright rights back from publishers after the passage of the statutorily required number of years.
Collegiate Athlete NIL and NCAA regulations
Counseled collegiate athletic departments and companies about compliance with NCAA regulations; state laws concerning enacted and proposed NIL legislation; and how to prepare for the effects of nationwide litigation involving college athletics, including NIL.
