In the rankings, the magazine weighs factors such as construction practice percentage of total revenue; number of construction attorneys; year of established practice; number of licensed states; and number of AEC clients.

The acquisition expanded Adams and Reese’s roster of board-certified construction lawyers, certified arbitrators and mediators, general counsel of roofing industry and construction associations, and former certified general contractors and industry laborers who understand the construction business.
