Adams and Reese is pleased to announce the addition of veteran litigator and trial attorney Jane Haas as Counsel in the national law firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
Haas, who has close to 25 years of trial and arbitration experience, will practice in the Adams and Reese Houston office. Her legal career has included 15 years as a partner and shareholder at Houston law firms LeClair Ryan and Hartline Barger.

Haas represents corporate clients in various commercial and business litigation matters, including construction, architecture and engineering, hospitality (hotels/restaurants), retail, manufacturing, distribution, products, property management and ownership, insurance, and energy/oil and gas. Her experience also includes obtaining jury verdicts in breach of contract, products liability, nuisance, premises liability, and deceptive trade practice liability cases.
Haas has authored articles and presented seminars for clients, bar associations, and trade organizations on construction defect, workers compensation, contract indemnification, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, general injury claims, and insurance code violations. She has served as a board member of Texas Association of Defense Counsel; has been a member of the Construction Law section member of the Houston Bar; Hospitality and Retail section member of the Defense Research Institute; former attorney council vice chair of the National Chapter of American Subcontractors Association; and former member of the American Subcontractors Association, Houston Chapter government advocacy and membership committees.
Haas is active in the Houston community. She is a former board member of Alternatives in Motion (AIM) Adoptions, and an active supporter and volunteer for Houston SPCA and Houston Food Bank. Haas graduated with a B.A. from Trinity University and obtained her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston.
