Adams and Reese Nashville attorneys Gif Thornton and Brad Lampley have been named to the Nashville Post's In Charge 2019. The annual compendium spotlights leaders in the business, political and civic spheres.
The more than 500 honorees on this year's list "represent the best of the best — and always are 'in charge,'" says the publication.
Brad serves as the Partner in Charge of the firm's Nashville office and leads the Government Relations team. In his practice, Brad serves as legislative counsel to businesses and trade associations with interests before the Tennessee General Assembly and Tennessee state government. Brad also has extensive experience advising national and multinational companies on economic development matters, negotiating state and local incentive packages for companies that wish to relocate their businesses to Tennessee. His work for Metro Nashville, the Tennessee Bar Association and Delta Dental is highlighted in the publication, along with his ties to the University of Tennessee as a former member of its football team and board of trustees.
Gif has served as Managing Partner for Adams and Reese since March of 2015. Previously, he served as legislative counsel to a number of businesses, trade associations, and governmental entities with interests before Tennessee state and local government. He has been named as Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for both Government Relations and Insurance Law. In the publication, Gif is noted for his leadership of the firm and influential government relations practice. The publication also highlighted Gif's service to multiple nonprofits as a member of their boards.
