Adams and Reese Special Counsel Roy Hadley appeared as a special guest on RoofersCoffeeShop with host Heidi J. Ellsworth to discuss “What You Need to Know About Cybersecurity in Roofing.”
Hadley, who practices technology law and specializes in cybersecurity issues and concerns for businesses, offers information that is vital to every roofing company, including what is happening with government officials, corporations, and construction companies around the risk of cyberattacks. Hadley also discusses what companies need to be aware of and how contractors can protect their business.
For more than 30 years, Hadley has been an advisor to and legal counsel for high growth businesses, governments, and family/closely held businesses in the diverse areas of complex corporate transactions, particularly those involving technology, cybersecurity, life sciences, economic development, telecommunications, outsourcing, and intellectual property. His work as independent counsel on cybersecurity matters helps governmental officials and corporate boards understand and mitigate legal and operational risks and exposures to protect themselves and the companies/governments they serve. He also helps clients to respond to and recover from attacks.
Hadley serves as board chair of the Technology Association of Georgia, Information Security Society; board member of the Technology Association of Georgia, Leadership Council; advisory board member of the National Technology Security Coalition; and founding member of the Center for Local & State Government Cyber Preparedness.
Hadley also serves as leader of the Adams and Reese HBCU Team, as part of the law firm’s Education practice.
