Jaimmé Collins and Diana Surprenant have been named to New Orleans CityBusiness’ “Women of the Year” Class of 2019. The annual awards recognize 50 top businesswomen in New Orleans who are making notable contributions to both the local business community and society at large.
Jaimmé and Diana are the latest honorees among numerous Adams and Reese attorneys and staff who have received the award in previous years, continuing a tradition of excellence among the firm’s women in the business world and in the community.
Now a two-time “Women of the Year” honoree, Jaimmé is recognized for her significant career contributions to diversity in the legal field, her community leadership as a board member of the Bureau of Governmental Research and numerous other community organizations and her leadership in her legal practice, especially serving Louisiana charter schools. Jaimmé was previously honored in the Women of the Year Class of 2011.
Diana is recognized for her outstanding litigation practice in which she represents a wide variety of clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings and in administrative proceedings before governmental bodies. Her community involvement includes supporting St. Andrew’s Village, SOLACE (Support for Lawyers/Legal Personnel - All Concern Encouraged) and the Homeless Experience Legal Protection Program, and is committed to pro bono representation.
Both women will be recognized among the 50 “Women of the Year” honorees at a luncheon Friday, November 8 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, when an overall Woman of the Year will be announced. A special insert spotlighting all “Women of the Year” honorees will run in the November 22 issue of CityBusiness.
