Adams and Reese Partner Jannea Rogers will be a speaker at the Perrin Conferences National Construction Defect Conference, to be held November 9-10, 2023, at the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans.
The conference gathers prominent construction attorneys, in-house counsel, insurance professionals, and industry experts for two days of learning and networking in New Orleans.
For 35 years, Rogers has advised and represented clients throughout the Southeast in various practice areas of civil and complex commercial litigation. Rogers is ranked by clients and peers in Construction Law, Band 3, in Alabama, by Chambers USA. Within her construction practice, she represents owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and materialmen in disputes related to defects in construction as well as personal injury claims associated with construction defects.
Rogers is a frequent speaker for legal and industry groups and in-house client seminars on a variety of practice area topics, including construction defect claims, electronic data management, mechanic liens, coverage issues, trial tactics, and legal surveys.
Rogers has the Advanced Claims Professional (A.C.P.) designation from The Institutes CLM. After acting as a board member for the School of Construction Claims College for CLM for the past five years and as an instructor for the past three years, Rogers earned both the designation of CCP, Certified Claims Professional in the area of Construction from The CLM Claims College School of Construction, as well as CLMP, Certified Litigation Management Professional from the Litigation Management Institute, prior to her recent award of Advanced Claims Professional from the School of Leadership. The School of Leadership provides a comprehensive review of leadership theories and styles as well as practical information for leadership development. Students learn about the roles of claims leaders and leadership challenges, leading claims staff to success and leading across the enterprise.
