Adams and Reese attorney Chris Joseph is interviewed in a “Member Spotlight” feature in the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) newsletter.
Joseph has been an ABA TIPS member since 2022. In 2024, Joseph moderated a panel discussion on DEI initiatives and challenges within the corporate and legal industries, held at the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee’s Midwinter Conference in 2024. Also in 2024, Joseph was selected to join the inaugural class of the FSLC’s Emerging Leaders Program.
“I’m grateful for the connections I have established through TIPS and look forward to many years of continued membership of this great organization,” said Joseph. “The best part of TIPS is the other members. They are knowledgeable, diverse, and have a keen interest in tort trial and insurance law. I have attended numerous excellent presentations and read many publications of cutting edge and nuanced law.”
Joseph continued: “TIPS also provides great mentorship opportunities for younger attorneys who strive to become emerging leaders in the section.”
At Adams and Reese, Joseph is a member of the Construction Practice Group, where he litigates matters that involve commercial construction, sureties, commercial industry contracts, and property casualty. He litigates commercial construction cases in Louisiana state and federal courts, handling all the various stages of litigation. He practices in the firm’s Baton Rouge office.
Joseph is recognized by his peers among Louisiana Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” in Construction Litigation. He was also a member of the ABA Young Lawyer Division Leadership Academy and a 2024 Pathfinder of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
