Adams and Reese Partner Deborah Oliver, who serves as the Partner in Charge of the firm’s Tampa office, has been selected to the 2014-2015 Class of Leadership Tampa, the third oldest leadership program in the nation which identifies and develops future leaders in Tampa and Hillsborough County.
Members of Leadership Tampa are professionals who hold mid-to-upper level management positions within their companies or organizations, and the class presents an invaluable opportunity to interact with and foster meaningful marketing relationships with Tampa’s most successful business leaders. The program helps them by participating in educational sessions, tours, interactions with community leaders and the area’s top business leaders.
Oliver joined Adams and Reese in 2010 following the firm’s expansion into Tampa and is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Practicing as a litigator since 1999, she concentrates on employment law, consumer protection, banking and finance, and general civil and appellate litigation issues. She has also handled numerous class action matters, in both state and federal courts.
Oliver is a member of both the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers.
She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in 1999, and she received her B.A. in psychology from Kansas State University in 1995.
