Adams and Reese attorney Katelin Varnado is a member of the 2024 Leadership Louisiana class, selected by Council for a Better Louisiana.
The leadership program is in its 36th year and brings together more than 50 emerging business professionals, government, and community leaders to discuss and solve critical issues and challenges impacting the state as they work together to further develop economic opportunities.
Varnado joins a long list of Adams and Reese alumni who have participated in this program, which has more than 1,500 alumni who are leaders from a cross-section of sectors – civic, business, government, university, professional, cultural, and nonprofit.
At Adams and Reese, Varnado is a member of the Intersection of Business and Government practice. She represents clients in construction, general liability and commercial litigation, insurance defense, government relations and regulatory matters.
Varnado is a member of one of the largest construction teams in the country with Adams and Reese’s roster of more than 80 attorneys serving the legal needs of the construction industry. She is a published author for LexisNexis and JDSupra, in which she received a Readers Choice Award in 2024. Varnado is a presenter for and member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMMA), Gulf Coast Chapter, working to ensure her clients stay up to date on construction code changes, new regulations, and industry trends which may impact their work.
Varnado is ranked by her peers and clients among the Louisiana Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” in Construction Litigation, Civil Litigation, and Business/Corporate Law.
A Baton Rouge native, Varnado received her B.S. and J.D. from Louisiana State University.
