Claire E. Sauls

Adams and Reese Associate Claire Sauls primarily practices in construction defect matters, premise liability claims, breach of contract issues, and commercial insurance defense.

Claire works with clients to understand a thorough analysis of the legal issues presented and how they impact their business, potential defenses and counterclaims, while providing continuous clear communication with her clients. 

Claire is a member of the Adams and Reese construction team, one of the largest construction practices in the nation with more than 90 attorneys licensed in more than 30 states and serving the legal needs of the construction industry across the firm's footprint.

Claire was recently selected to participate in the Mitratech AdvanceLaw Diversity Mentorship Program, which offers rising-star law firm associates the opportunity to network with and be mentored by senior in-house general counsel at the nation's top businesses.

Practicing law since 2015, Claire received both her J.D. and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, graduating cum laude. 

While in law school, Claire served as an executive member of the Moot Court Board. Additionally, she completed an externship in the First Circuit Court of Appeals and trained to mediate resolution of conflicts through her involvement in the Civil Mediation Clinic. She was recognized by the Wex S. Malone Inns of Court for excellence in Trial Advocacy and received the CALI award in Contracts.

Claire earned her undergraduate bachelor of science degree in Marketing from LSU. 

In the Baton Rouge community, Claire formerly served on the Board of Directors for Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance (BREADA). She volunteers her time to the LSU Law Center as a judge for trial advocacy competitions, and to the 19th Judicial District Court in the Self-Help Resource Center.
