Leading ethics attorneys Lucian Pera, Partner with Adams and Reese, and Trish Rich, Partner with Holland & Knight, return for a free, one-hour review of the most important developments of the last year (or so) in legal ethics and lawyering.
The 2024 “Legal Ethics Year in Review” will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Noon central time via the ON24 Webcast platform. Please register before Dec. 11, and webinar access information will be provided via a confirmation e-mail.
Pera and Rich will distill practical guidance from ethics opinions and case law from around the country and review what lawyers should know to protect their clients and themselves, and practice more effectively.

- Handling “hot” documents
- Wins and losses for attorney-client privilege protection
- New guidance on lawyers leaving law firms
- Using artificial intelligence (AI) ethically and responsibly
- Continuing lawyer cybersecurity dangers
After the completion of the program, Holland & Knight will apply for a 1.0 Ethics CLE credit in the following jurisdictions based on attendee requests: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and Washington. Some programs may not be awarded CLE credits because of content or jurisdictional restrictions. Please be aware that the CLE approval process can be lengthy in some jurisdictions.
Holland & Knight is an approved CLE provider in several jurisdictions, including California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. For New York attorneys, this program's format qualifies for CLE for transitional (newly admitted) and experienced attorneys. General Certificates of Attendance will be provided upon request for states where applications are not submitted.
