Adams and Reese Litigation Counsel and Construction Law Attorney Ashlee Poplin has been selected among the 2024 North Carolina Rising Stars by Super Lawyers®, a national legal publication honoring attorneys for peer recognition and professional achievement.
Only 2.5% of attorneys in the state, either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less, are selected among the North Carolina Rising Stars.
This is the seventh consecutive year Poplin has been selected to Rising Stars. She is recognized among the Best Lawyers® Ones to Watch in Construction Law and Litigation (2022-2024).
Poplin is a member of one of the largest construction practices in the country with Adams and Reese’s roster of more than 80 attorneys serving the construction industry. Poplin serves as General Counsel for National Women in Roofing, and she is the communications chair on the Charlotte Council for National Women in Roofing. She is actively engaged with the Charlotte Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction.
Poplin is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Utah, and primarily practices in commercial litigation, construction, workplace safety and OSHA. She advises clients on workplace health and safety issues and matters related to contract review, drafting and litigation, lien law, bond law, insurance, mediation, arbitration, and all other aspects of litigation.
Poplin earned her J.D. at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She received her B.A. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
