Chambers USA, the prestigious legal ranking guide and highly regarded directory of America's leading lawyers for business, has named 29 Adams and Reese attorneys as leading practitioners in the recently released 2023 edition. In addition to the 29 individual rankings, Adams and Reese also achieved 13 firm rankings from the Chambers USA 2023 Guide.
Chambers USA is considered a cornerstone directory whose listings are given significant weight among business leaders selecting legal counsel.
Rankings are based on direct attorney interviews, competitor and client evaluations, and overall effectiveness of attorneys and their departments. Within each state, law firms and attorneys are ranked in Bands, from 1-5, with 1 being the top tier, and in addition, “Senior Statesman” and “Up & Coming” are also recognized.
Adams and Reese had two attorneys receive Band 1 rankings for being among the top tier in their respective states. Adams and Reese Litigation Practice Group Leader Jeff Trotter received a Mississippi Band 1 in “Energy and Natural Resources,” while Adams and Reese Appellate Team Leader Martin Stern received a Louisiana Band 1 in “Litigation: Appellate.”
“Senior Statesman” recognitions were received by Richard Carmody in Alabama “Banking and Finance” and “Bankruptcy/Restructuring;” Glen Pilie in Louisiana “Environment: Litigation;” and Brooke Duncan III and Leslie Lanusse in Louisiana “Labor and Employment.”
Adams and Reese’s Alcohol and Hospitality Practice ranked Nationwide in “Food & Beverages – Alcohol.” Will Cheek, who leads the Tennessee Retail Team of Adams and Reese’s Alcohol and Hospitality Practice, ranked Nationwide in Band 4 in “Food & Beverage: Alcohol.”
