Adams and Reese’s E. Paige Sensenbrenner Named to Product Liability Advisory Council

PLAC membership includes more than 100 leading product manufacturers and 350 product liability defense counsels operating in the U.S. and abroad. It is a non-profit association formed in 1983 to analyze, understand and shape the common law of product liability and complex litigation. While PLAC was created by and for in-house corporate attorneys, its membership also includes accomplished “by-invitation-only” defense trial and appellate attorneys with deep experience in complex litigation matters.
Sensenbrenner joined Adams and Reese in 1987 after graduating from Loyola Law School. Initially, he focused on medical malpractice defense. Over the years, however, his litigation practice has evolved to include pharmaceutical and medical device products liability, pharmaceutical pricing claims, insurance fraud, toxic torts and accounting malpractice/fraud. Many of these claims involved class actions and complex litigation. Sensenbrenner also defended a parish government in a class action alleging property damage resulting from levee failures in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
His practice also includes government relations and health care. He has drafted legislation for health care entities, insurance companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and testified before legislative committees. Sensenbrenner also serves as outside general counsel for the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency and the Louisiana Cancer Research Center.
