Ashley Harbin is a seasoned advisor specializing in navigating the intersection of law, government, and public policy. With nearly a decade of legislative experience and a strong legal background, Ashley excels at addressing the most complex, politically sensitive challenges faced by her clients.
Ashley provides strategic counsel to a broad spectrum of clients, guiding them through governmental relations and advocacy efforts at the state and local levels, including lobbying before the Tennessee General Assembly. Ashley is skilled at identifying legislative priorities, drafting bills, and advancing her clients' interests before state agencies and lawmakers. She has worked across a diverse range of industries, organizations, and trade associations, leveraging her experience as legislative counsel to drive impactful policy outcomes.
Before joining Adams and Reese, Ashley served as Policy Advisor and Legal Counsel to Tennessee Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson, where she played a pivotal role in shaping policy, drafting legislation, and advising on legal and legislative matters. In addition to her work in the Tennessee General Assembly, Ashley built upon her experience in politics as Director of Finance for the Tennessee Republican Party.
Ashley holds a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Tennessee. A native of Dandridge, Tennessee, Ashley has strong ties to the east Tennessee community.
