As a fifth generation New Orleanian and attorney, practicing law was a lifelong aspiration of mine that I’m proud to now carry out each day. My education combined with my experience as a law clerk here at Adams and Reese as well as my family’s values about the importance of the legal system prepared me to represent my clients’ needs diligently and fervently.

Hailey Cummiskey is a member of the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice, assisting the group’s attorneys in litigation and transactional matters on state and federal levels.

Hailey has experience in all aspects of the litigation process, from inception of any matter and consultation with clients, to the resolution of the case and situation tailored to assisting the legal needs of a business. Through her various clerkships, Hailey gained experience in several practice areas, including oil and gas, labor and employment, intellectual property, maritime, and international trade.

Hailey earned her J.D. from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she was a Junior Associate and later a Development Editor for the Louisiana Law Review. She was a Hebert Scholar, a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, a research assistant for Professor William R. Corbett, and the Torts Academic Tutor. Hailey was also an extern in the Chambers of United States Magistrate Judge, the Hon. Donna Phillips Currault, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Graduating from LSU, Hailey received her Bachelor of Arts in English. She served as Vice President of Membership and Recruitment, as well as Director of Social Media for the Louisiana Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. A New Orleans native, Hailey graduated high school from Mount Carmel Academy.

Hailey is proud of her commitment to volunteerism and community service. She is a former volunteer for Read, Lead, Achieve, working with children to develop learning and reading skills, and organizing book drives for elementary schools in need.
