Regardless of the legal issue at hand, clients can trust that I will be a staunch advocate, committed to helping them achieve their goals.

Steven Moritz is a member of the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice, experienced in all aspects of the litigation process, from inception and consultation with corporate clients to the resolution of their case and situation, all tailored to assisting their various legal needs.

Previously, Steven was a paralegal and legal assistant in the Adams and Reese Houston office, where he assisted colleagues in diverse practice areas. He has close to a decade of paralegal experience in Houston and clerked for several local firms, gaining familiarity with the varying litigation and procedural processes in courts across Texas.

Steven managed records to be used in litigation; redacted, labeled, and maintained production and exhibits; drafted discovery requests and responses; researched title records for property disputes; and provided support at trials and hearings. He also gained experience preparing transactional documents involving business entity organization, reorganization, and mergers and acquisitions.

Steven earned his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law, where he served as President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He was captain of the South Texas Baseball Arbitration Competition Team, and he was a member of the Tax Law Society. Steven received his Bachelor of Science in Management, with a major in Finance, from Tulane University. He was a Division I scholarship student athlete on the Green Wave baseball team.

In the community, Steven sits on the Executive Committee of the Houston Young Professional Board for the Special Olympics, and he is a volunteer coach in the West University Little League. He led the 2022 Seniors Division All Stars to the Little League World Series.
