Overview

Tyler Conklin is a member of the Adams & Reese Aviation and Aerospace Team within the law firm’s Intersection of Business and Government Practice. She has substantial experience providing comprehensive legal advice on compliance, risk management, and strategy across diverse aspects of aviation business and operations.

Prior to joining Adams & Reese, Tyler served as in-house counsel at Atlas Air, Inc., where she was the legal focal for the Flight Operations Department of the leading international cargo airline. In her role, Tyler advised senior leaders and worked closely with global outside counsel to navigate complex compliance matters, manage high-stakes projects, and support the business and operational needs of the company.

Tyler is experienced in risk analysis, contract negotiation, sophisticated internal investigations, legal compliance, HR and Legal policy development, disciplinary actions, and union relations. Her understanding of aviation law and operations enables her to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions in a highly-regulated industry.

Tyler earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, receiving an Energy and Environmental Law Certificate. She studied abroad at University College Dublin in Ireland. Tyler was a judicial intern for the Hon. Alfred Covello, Senior U.S. District Judge for the District of Connecticut, and she interned for the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, gaining experience in environmental regulations at the federal and state levels. Tyler was a teaching and research assistant, facilitating core principles of constitutional law for international LLM students. While in law school, Tyler worked in the legal department of a major aerospace manufacturer.

Tyler received her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies at Pittsburg State University. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University in Russia, earning a certificate in Russian Language.
